Our aim is to provide high-quality treatment to children, teens, young adults and families exhibiting a wide range of behavioral and emotional difficulties.
Our approach is compassionate and collaborative and treatment is carefully matched to the needs of each unique individual and family. Therapists are trained to provide the most effective, evidence-based treatment approaches, some of which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and behavior therapy. We emphasize working with parents and other relevant family members to comprehensively address treatment concerns.
We strongly believe in an interdisciplinary approach to treatment. Our therapists have extensive experience participating in school meetings, developing classroom behavior plans, and coordinating academic accommodations. In addition to working directly with schools, we also collaborate with primary care doctors, neurologists, and psychiatrists to ensure continuity of care across all relevant providers.
Therapy format is tailored to your unique situation, and your Psychologist will work with you during an intake session to determine the best format.
All treatments provided at the center are based on the most cutting-edge research on what intervention strategies are most effective for individual and family relationship problems. We are experts in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Couples and Family Therapy, and Psychiatric Care.
Furthermore, therapy at the center is collaborative. All clients are equal partners in the planning and treatment process. Interventions are designed to be as efficient as possible with clear recommendations after each session and with no mystery as to why certain strategies are recommended.
Finally, we believe that no client should feel judged or blamed for their problems, and each client should leave sessions with an increased sense of hope and confidence that they can tackle their personal issues in a realistic manner.
